U7's Match Report

Sunday 14th March 2010 - East Sussex Festival hosted at Eastbourne RFC.

We lost in the final to Brighton.

We had an amazing day - We convincingly beat Hastings and Eastbourne in our first two games and then had a tough game against East Grinstead eventually will 8 - 5. That put us through to the semi's where we beat Lewes in an amazing game - the support and passing skills for an under 7's side were quite frankly amazing with us winning 7 - 4. This put us through to a final with Brighton for a fantastic game. Unfortunately we were very tired and after 2 minutes found ourselves 2 to 0 down but as soon as we woke up we ended up in a cracking high intensity game with the skills from both sides being amazing. We ended up losing 8 - 6 have clawed our way back from 4 - 1 down at half time. I am so proud of the boys - I couldn't have asked for anymore from them they were just fantastic!!
