Match Reports

Folkestone Rugby Club

Old Dunstonians are emerging this season as the surprise contenders for promotion – having been well beaten when they were the visitors to Burlington Field last September.

Today’s result did nothing to alleviate the feeling as Folkestone were soundly beaten by a better team by 10 tries to two.

The Stones have had a terrible first half to the season with injuries, illnesses and missing players.

Remarkably, eight Folkestone games out of the last thirteen against Bromley, have finished with only a single score between the teams.

Folkestone fail to extend their run of wins at Hastings and Bexhill.

A quick look at any Bookies betting odds before this match would have seen Folkestone as firm favourites, winning on their last four outings – whilst their opponents had lost in their last three, and not registered a win since October.
