Folkestone Rugby Club

League leaders Crowborough hold firm in atrocious conditions.

In testing conditions, it seemed that some of the players had disobeyed the strict rules of rugger concerning celibacy and abstinence on the night before the match - such was the sheer exhaustion of both teams when the final whistle was blown.

This was Folkestones 4th win on the trot can they continue at Crowborough next week?

Despite the weather of the past week all the pitches had been clearly marked out by the faithful ground staff.

‘Phew – we nicked that one!!’ But we saw grins- even on the face of coach Darren Molloy,

With a revivified team and two good results behind them, Folkestone were looking to make it three in a row in both the league and in fixtures against OW’s.
