The end of a tough season for the senior section finished with the Awards Night on Saturday 21st April 2018.

Another Great Night at CRFC.

Following our long trip to Thanet Wanderers on the North Kent Coast, the Awards Night was arranged to acknowledge the achievements of the Senior Section.
During the Evening of the usual fun and frolics and during and after another great meal from the catering team (Sandra & Jacqui - Thanks again Girls) the Senior Awards hosted By Head Coach, Dan Moore .
This Years Theme was any thing to do with the beach, so out came the usual Hawaiian shirts and the usual Club Ties !!!
We also had the appearance of our very own CRFC club house `Ghost` - Alias, Callum Main..... walking around the club house and not for the first time this season !

Anyway, this season we recognized a number of people within the club for their outstanding contribution to the Senior Section, of which most were present on the evening, all received a standing ovation from the players ....
Singled out, Dave Bristow, Head Groundsman for supplying the players the best playing surface ever seen at Steel Cross. John (Damper) Sayer our Facilities Manager, Rick Howe, 1st XV Match Reporter, Drew Pratt , Photographer (Home , and Away) Graeme Pratt our referee's coordinator, The many members of the CRFC `Friday Club` and yours truly Ian Geering, for everything to do with admin.

The Crowborough Faithful Award presented by Rick Howe as voted by all the supporters went to Richard Tasker, this season played the most minutes in the 1st XV even cutting short his holiday to return to the front row ! Well Done Tasker .....

2nd XV - Most Improved Player of the Year - Phil Vos
2nd XV - Newcomer of the Year - Will Maltby

3rd XV - Player of the Year - Dave Leslie
3rd XV - Players Player of the Year - James Hart
3rd XV - Most Improved Player of the Year - Wes Williams
3rd XV - Clubman of the Year - Terry Hughes
3rd XV - Knob of the Year - Jeremy Evans

Congratulations to all the award winners.......and another great night at Steel Cross !
