For those of you who are getting into shape for next season you might have heard that our catering for next season is changing.
After a number of years struggling with Franchisees we are now taking over the catering ourselves to ensure that all revenues, as with the bar, come to the Club. We are pleased to tell you that Tim Prowse is taking over as Catering manager with immediate effect and in this role he will be reporting to our Finance Director Richard Lambert.
The purpose of this move is to improve the quality and standards of the catering something that has been missing as Franchisees put profit before service. You will probably notice a small increase in prices but rest assured the catering will be run the same way as the bar along business lines.
The first real opportunity to sample the new service will be this coming weekend at the tag festival when Tim will be serving a traditional barbeque. If there are sufficient numbers requiring after training food during August this will also be available.
For all you Curry lovers we can assure you he produces a great range from mild to mind blowing. We are also looking at other ventures to help generate additional funds for the club but more of those for the future. So if you are down at the club and feeling peckish why not give Tim’s food a try.
