On Saturday the 19th September 2009, we are holding a memorial lunch to celebrate Ted James’ life and his exploits with Crowborough Rugby Football Club. On that day the 1st XV team are playing their first home league game of the season against local rivals and long term friends East Grinstead RFC.
The aim on the day is to: Have a great lunch meeting old friends and “chewing the cud” about Ted and his many adventures e.g. Vets Tours, The Three Peaks, etc; Support the 1st team at the start of what promises to be a great season; Enjoy the occasion. With this in mind I am trying to pull together anecdotes of Ted which can be set together in a program for the day. Do let me have your stories either by email to me (david@davidpogson.co.uk) or Gavin or by post with your cheque and completed form attached.
Please open, complete and return attachment.
Apart from the lunch and the match there will be post game light entertainment from Mr Chan. Pixie will be with us on the day so please do make the effort to meet with your friends and to give Ted a fine send off. All profits from the meal and raffle will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.Kind Regards,
Apologies for late notice of the event.
