3RD XV - THE CROWS

Welcome to the Crows homepage

The Crows are the 3^rd Team of Crowborough Rugby Football Club, an identity that helps bring everyone together and promote an already healthy squad identity and character. 

Squad spirit is enhanced with regular social events and the now epic Crows' end of season tour, the most recent being a four day trip to Brussels resulting in a (still) unbeaten international record for side!

The age range of the team is 17-56+ (it has gone up a year since last season!) with a  mix of abilities. Using our reliable, evergreen stalwarts, we aim to develop the younger and less experienced players, introducing them into the social side of the game, before allowing them to progress to higher levels.

Under the captaincy for yet another year of 'Animal' Mark Wilson (his sixth), individuals and the squad as a whole continue to improve. Following the sides previous season’s promotion, the squad consolidated their position in Sussex Two East, the highest league in which any Crowborough 3s team has played.

A winning mentality now exists within The Crows with everyone supporting their mates to perform well during the game in the knowledge that the post match drinks taste better when accompanied with the taste of victory!

With all best endeavours we train as a squad once a week (Thursdays 7.30pm), starting on August 2^nd at the club where all ages and skill levels are welcome.
