3RD XV - THE CROWS

Welcome to the Crows homepage

The Crows are the 3rd team within Crowborough Rugby Club, an identity that helps promote the already healthy team spirit within the squad. This is further enhanced with regular social events and the now epic Crows' end of season tour. The age range of the team is 17-55+ with a whole mix of abilities. Using our ‘old hats’ we aim to develop the younger and less experienced players, introducing them into the social side of the game, before allowing them to progress to higher levels.

Under the captaincy for the fith year, of 'Animal' Mark Wilson, the team continues to improve, finishing 2nd last season and gaining promotion to Sussex Two East.  There is a real desire to perform well during the game, and Mark has been known to 'lose it' at times, but come the final whistle the result is soon forgotten given the amount of alcohol consumed!
