Eng v Rest of the World raised 450 Pounds
Sunday 2nd May we played an "England v Rest of the World" friendly at Steel Cross
It was made up of players/members of the Club, who were English, in the Crowborough 1st Team Colours, or with another other country's heritage from Scotland, Wales, France, Malta, Holland, South Africa & New Zealand aka the Rest of the World in the 2nd. Team Colours.
A tough competitive game, played in appalling weather conditions, yet attracting a significant group of supporters. Score Eng 18-18 R-o-W
It was in order to raise funds towards the new ClubHouse, each player was sponsored and those who attended to watch made generous donations.
Many thanks to Martin Logan who organised as seems to be the case this season, the weather played its part, but nevertheless, it was a great afternoon raising £450.05 towards the ClubHouse development fund....
Well done to all concerned..
