Crowborough Colts bid farewell to their youth league era with a victory in their final fixture against Pulborough Colts in the Sussex Premiership league. Despite facing uncertain weather conditions throughout the week, the determination of over 25 parents and players prior to the match ensured that the game could go ahead, culminating in a 22-14 win for Crowborough.

The atmosphere was electric as the Crowborough team took to the field, with enthusiastic support from the 1st XV, U16 girls and boys, and loyal club supporters. From the outset, Crowborough played some great rugby, securing an early lead and scoring three impressive tries before Pulborough mounted a valiant comeback, Crowborough's forwards and backs combining well proved too much to handle, as they showcased seamless teamwork in both attack and defense despite the heavy playing conditions.

The win not only marked the end of an era for the youth league team but also heralded a promising future for the club. Ten of the talented Colts have been selected to make their senior debuts next weekend, further solidifying Crowborough's position as one of the best rugby clubs in Sussex for home grown talent.
