I’ve been at this club for a long time, so to now have the opportunity to lead the first team is a massive honour and something I’m genuinely very proud of.

I’ll do my best to set the standards, work hard and make sure we all enjoy our rugby. I can’t promise we’ll win every game, but I can promise we’ll give it everything — and I’m sure we’ll have a few interesting explanations when things don’t go our way!

Thanks to everyone who’s put their trust in me. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in with the boys, creating some good memories and, most importantly, working hard for each other and giving the club something to be proud of.
