From the outset it was clear there is both realistic ambitions to improve from the players, alongside creating and harnessing a strong community ethos. There is everything here to take the club to the next stage in its’ development. I see this as a fantastic opportunity to move the club forward and I am excited to be part of that journey.’

Ben Pollard- ‘‘Crowborough is such a welcoming, family-based club and I’ve loved being involved in the rugby development role over the last year. I feel we’ve made some real strides in the quality of experience that each player gets and I’m really looking forward to continuing to develop on this with the brilliant coaches we’ve got at the club. It’s a hugely exciting time for our thriving minis and junior sections, and this includes our ever-growing girls section. I’m really looking forward to helping them on their journey.’’

Paul Gray Director of Rugby - ‘These are two great coaching appointments for the club. Jody is a Level 3 coach who has the experience of several years in the National Leagues with Worthing. His passion and knowledge of the game are evident, and I think he will be a great fit here at Crowborough RFC. The players and coaches are really looking forward to working with him and the aim is to push for a top spot in the league this season. Ben is a great coach too and has already proved to be a fantastic asset over the last year. With him taking on the role as Director of Youth and Mini Rugby it really bodes well for the future.’

Former Senior Lead Coach, Dan Moore, will head up the coaching in the CRFC U18 Academy.
