Members of the CRFC Friday club and the lovely Jacqui recently met at Crowborough Hospital to carry out a check of the 20 gazebos used at the Crowborough Hospital Fete.
The fete, which is held every year on August Bank Holiday, raises significant funds towards the running of the Hospital and Day Centre as well as being a fantastic community event in the Crowborough calendar.
For the last four years, members of the CRFC Friday Club have organised and carried out the erection and dismantling of the gazebos used for all the stalls at the fete.
Anthony Shaw who is the lead organiser of the fete, expressed his thanks for the contribution of CRFC members. “Without the help from the rugby club in the set up and breakdown of the fete, the event would not run as smoothly as it does”
The Crowborough Hospital Fete this year will be on Monday 31st August between 2 and 5pm.
