This week's Match Report was by Rick Howe
And our Referee today was Jordan Davies.
After last week’s exciting last minute victory over Folkestone to take the title, it was perhaps too much to ask for anything as dramatic, and it wasn’t.
This was simply a workmanlike performance, doing just enough to stay ahead and record another five point win that put 11 points between them and Beccahamians in second place.
Tries from Tom Kent, Matt Botterman, Josh Groocock, and Ollie Jude-Trailor were just enough to see off the visitors, who in the first match of the season gained a narrow three point victory over the eventual champions.
This brings the season to an end. Crowborough will now wrap up this campaign, and focus forward to 2019/20. With the new season just five months away, planning is already under way, and the hard work will, after a short rest, begin again in earnest.
