The last day of the season was upon us and after the rain had gone the sun came out to what was going to be a great final game of rugby.

The scoring started early with Jacob Davey finding the try line. This was followed up with tries from Phil Hart and Fergus Milson.

With a few dubious decisions from the ref, one missing the ball getting punched forward by the opposition and another disallowing Jacobs brilliant chase down of a conversion, the boys still continued to have a great game.

Hellingly were not just going to sit down though, fighting back chipping away at the score line.

Following tradition Ash Ludgate took a blow to the head. I think he has been concussed more than George North this season!

With a few minutes to go Crowborough found them selves defending their try line and their lead of 2 points. However their hard work and determination saw it through to finish the last game of the season as winners. Everybody have a great performance and I was gutted I wasn't on the pitch with the lads.

Quick thank you to the Radfords for hosting the BBQ after the game. Daves fire in the garden was exquisite.

Also great evening at The BT sport studios on Friday representing the club, some great camera time with a few of the lads my favourite being Crouchy looking like he was about to beat up the Bloke who is walking for minis rugby!
